LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Three people were injured in an accident just after 8:30p.m. Tuesday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Matthew J. Pike, 36, Chillicothe, was westbound on County Road 230 three miles east of Chillicothe.
The driver lost control on the ice. The vehicle traveled off the road, struck a culvert and overturned into a creek bed.
Livingston County EMS transported passengers Leticia Citron, 30; Michelle L. Scott, 19, both of Chillicothe, and Scarlett R. Tripp, 32, Chula, to Hedrick Medical Center. Pike and two other passengers were not seriously injured. Only one occupant of the SUV was wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
