St. Joseph’s annual PumpkinFest has been named on a list of top festivals.
The festival was named in Country Living magazine as one of the 29 Best Halloween Festivals.
“They called me and first, you know how you get things and you kind of wonder,” said Cindy Daffron with the Pony Express Museum. “So we looked on their Facebook and we are listed… as one of the top in the country. It wasn’t the state of Missouri, it was the country, we thought that was really exciting.”
PumpkinFest kicks off this weekend at 5 p.m. on Friday at the Pony Express Museum and Patee Park. The lighting of Pumpkin Mountain takes place at 8 p.m. For more information visit ponyexpresspumpkinfest.com.
