COVID-19 hospitalizations increase in St. Joseph

St. Joseph health officials report an increase of 49 COVID-19
cases for Buchanan County Thursday, but that is down from the record one-day spike of 81
on Tuesday.

Buchanan County now reports a total of 2,209
COVID-19 cases. The county has recorded 24 deaths.

Mosaic Life Care reports 42 patients currently being treated
for the coronavirus at its St. Joseph hospital.

Mosaic has tested 32,332 area residents with 2,275 testing positive.

Andrew County health officials report no new cases on Thursday
with a total of 334 since the pandemic began.

Doniphan County, Kansas reports 96 cases.

Missouri has recorded 118,311 total cases, resulting
in 1,952 deaths.

In Kansas, the COVID-19 case total is 55,226 with
621 deaths.
