HARRISON COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 7p.m. Thursday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Honda Civic driven by Franlin S. Garcia, 31, Kansas City, was northbound on Interstate 35 two miles south of Eagleville.
The Honda attempted to overtake a 2000 Kenworth semi driven by Joaquin Medina, 60, Elizario, Texas. The Honda cut in on the northbound semi. The rear passenger side of the Honda struck the front drivers side of the semi.
After impact the Honda swerved back into the passing lane and into the path of a northbound 2019 Dodge Charger driven by Dylan M. Wilburn, 29, St. Joseph.
The front of the Dodge rear-ended the Honda. The Honda left the road and rolled. NTA ambulance transported Garcia and Wilburn to Harrison County Community Hospital. Medina was not injured. All three were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
