2-hour standoff ends peacefully in St. Joseph

St. Joseph Post

A standoff late last night in St. Joseph ended peacefully.

St. Joseph police kept traffic away from the 2000 block
of 42nd Street for two hours as they negotiated with a man wanted on
felony charges who refused to surrender.

The standoff began at around 9 o’clock Thursday evening and
ended at 11 last night when the suspect gave up and came out of the house.
Police took him into custody.
