BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 7a.m. Tuesday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford F250 driven by D. B. Carroll, 28, St. Joseph, was southbound on Interstate 29 one mile south of Faucett.
The pickup rear-ended a 2022 Ram 3500 driven by Koba Barabadze, 58, Brooklyn, New York, that was on the shoulder and returned to the road.
After impact, both vehicles began to slide and traveled off the west side of the road.
Buchanan County EMS transported Barabadze to Mosaic Life Care. Carroll was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
