ANDREW COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Friday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Jordan A. Ramos, 23, Oregon, Mo., was northbound on Interstate 29 seven miles north of Savannah.
The van was in the passing lane and merged into the driving lane. The van rear-ended a 2021 Freightliner semi driven by Ramone D. Reaves, 31, Flint, MIchigan, who had pulled into traffic from the northbound shoulder.
Andrew County EMS transported Ramos to Mosaic Life Care. Reaves was not injured. Ramos was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
