Missouri woman, 13-year-old injured in 2-vehicle crash

DAVIESS COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Sunday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Subaru Impreza driven by Cathleen M. Dedonder, 61, Topeka, was southbound on Ramp 3599 at U.S. 69 four miles west of Altamont.

The driver failed to stop at the stop sign and attempted to cross U.S. 69. A northbound 2013 Ford F150 driven by Melissa I. Lee, 37, Cameron,  struck the Subaru.

After impact the pickup traveled off the road and struck a guardrail.

Cameron EMS transported Lee to Liberty Hospital. Daviess County EMS transported a 13-year-old male passenger in the pickup to Cameron Regional. Deondonder was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
