BROWN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 6:30a.m. Monday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Buick Encore driven by Britney L. Achten, 23, Netawaka, Kansas, was northbound on U.S. 75 just north of Kansas 20 highway. The SUV struck a deer crossing the roadway and stopped on the outside shoulder.
EMS transporte Achten to the Holton Community Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
