Human remains found in north-central Missouri identified

Human remains found in north-central Missouri have been
identified as that of an Iowa man missing since 2018.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the remains have
been identified as those of Sebastian Tyrese Husted, a Black male who was 24 at the time
he was reported missing by the Centerville, Iowa Police Department. The patrol says
Centerville authorities reported Husted missing on January 22nd of
2018.

A turkey hunter discovered the remains Tuesday afternoon on
private property in Mercer County.

Members of the public is asked to contact the Mercer County
Sheriff’s Office or the Centerville, Iowa Police Department if they have any
information which might help in the investigation.
