GRUNDY COUNTY —A child was injured in an accident just before 9p.m. Thursday in Grundy County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a Chevy Impala driven by Emma E. Hostetler, 21, Trenton, was southbound on U.S. 65 one mile south of Spickard.
The car struck a deer in the road and came to a controlled stop on the west side of the highway.
A private vehicle transported a 2-year-old male passenger to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment. The child was not properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
