ANDREW COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Sunday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford Focus driven by Jenna R. Lamb, 22, Odessa, was northbound on Business 71 three miles north of St. Joseph.
The driver failed to yield and made a left turn onto the northbound Interstate 29 on ramp.
A southbound 2017 Chevy Colorado driven by Corey M. Blevins, 52, St. Joseph struck the front passenger door of the Ford. After impact the car traveled off the west side of the road and came to rest down an embankment.
Andrew County EMS transported Lamb and a 17-year-old boy from Lee’s Summit to Mosaic Life Care. Blevins was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
