ANDREW COUNTY —Two juveniles were injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Wednesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Dodge 1500 driven by a 16-year-old Savannah girl was eastbound on County Road 339 two miles south of Savannah. The driver failed to negotiate a left turn onto County Road 335. The pickup started sliding, traveled off the east side of the road and overturned.
Andrew County EMS transported the driver to Mosaic Life Care. A 16-year-old female passenger was released to her mother for treatment of a minor injury. Both were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The MSHP no longer releases names of accident victims.
