HARRISON COUNTY —Three people were injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Tuesday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by an 18-year-old West Des Moines, Iowa, man was northbound on Interstate 35 at mile marker 84. The jeep traveled off the west side of the road into the median. The driver overcorrected. The vehicle skidded across the northbound lanes and rolled.
NTA ambulance transported the driver and a 16-year-old female passenger to Harrison County Community Hospital. An 18-year-old male passenger refused treatment of a minor injury. The 16-year-old was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
