ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo. —One person was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Saturday in Atchison County
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported 2013 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 23-year-old Susanville, California, man was northbound on Interstate 29 ten miles north of Watson. The driver changed lanes and lost control of the vehicle. The Jeep rear-ended a 2005 GMC Savannah driven by 39-year-old Chicago, Illinois, man. After impact the van overturned.
Atchison-Holt ambulance transported the van driver to Grape Community Hospital. The Jeep driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
