Sheriff: NE Kansas man caught transporting meth

 JACKSON COUNTY, Kan.—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S. Highway 75, near 126th Road for an alleged traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

The driver, Tim Wurzbacher, 37, of Atchison, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail  on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a hallucinogenic drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
