CLINTON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred just after 6:30a.m. Tuesday in Clinton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Durango driven by a 32-year-old Lathrop woman was westbound on MO 116 near County Road 256 two miles east of Lathrop.
An eastbound vehicle crossed the center of the road and sideswiped the Durango. After impact the eastbound vehicle fled the scene.
A private party transported the Durango driver to Liberty Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
