HOLT COUNTY—Four people were injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Friday in Holt County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 49-year-old Carter Lake, Iowa woman was southbound on Interstate 29 ten miles south of Craig. The driver experienced a medical emergency. The car traveled off the road into the median, continued southbound in the northbound lanes and off the east side of the road. The vehicle continued into a wooded area where it came to rest.
Holt County EMS transported the driver and three passengers including a 17 and 15-year-old girls and a 13-year-old boy to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. All four were properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
