BROWN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 5p.m. Wednesday in Brown County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Polaris Ranger driven by Jace Twombly, 13, Hiawatha, was northbound on Mulberry Road and a 1978 Ford pickup driven by Luke A. Kessler, 25, Hiawatha, was eastbound on 230th Street. The vehicles collided in the intersection.
EMS transported the boy to Amberwell Hospital. Kessler was not injured and properly restrained, according to the KHP.
