HARRISON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30a.m. Sunday in Harrison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2024 Peterbilt semi driven by a 55-year-old Lafayette, Louisiana, man was southbound on Interstate 35 six miles north of Bethany. The vehicle traveled off the east side of the road, struck a concrete culvert, crossed over the northbound lane of the Interstate and traveled off the east side of the road.
EMS transported the driver to Harrison County Community Hospital. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
