ANDREW COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 3:30p.m. Wednesday in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chevy passenger vehicle driven by a 24-year-old St. Joseph man was westbound on Route B attempting to cross U.S. 71. The driver failed to yield a northbound 2012 Nissan Maxima driven by a 23-year-old Maryville woman. The Nissan struck the drivers side of the Chevy. After impact both vehicle skidded off the road into the median.
Andrew County EMS transported both drivers to Mosaic Life Care. The Nissan driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
