Purina and River Bluff Brewery raised nearly $21,000 for Friends of the Animal Shelter during the Purina Raise a Pint for Pets campaign.
The campaign which stretched over August and September raised $20,979. Purina covered the adoption fees for the nine pets that were adopted through Friends of the Animal Shelter. Sales of Arrowhead Red at River Bluff raised money for the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.
“Raise a Pint for Pets showed what this community can do when we rally around a shared purpose,” Lisa Weil, speaking on behalf of Purina, said in a written statement released by the company. “We’re grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate and to support Friends of the Animal Shelter.”
“We love brewing beer that brings people together for good,” Chris Lanman, Co-Founder and Director of (h)Ops at River Bluff Brewing said in a written statement. “Thanks to our guests, partners, and the shelter team for making this a win for local pets.”
