DAVIESS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 10:30a.m. Saturday in Daviess County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 79-year-old Jamesport man was southbound on Route J just south of Kidder. The driver lost control on the snow and ice covered road. The Jeep traveled off the west side of the road, struck an embankment, a mailbox and overturned.
Daviess County EMS transported the driver to Cameron Regional Medial Center. He was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
