An 85-year old St. Joseph man was injured in a one vehicle wreck Monday morning in Andrew County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 9:35 a.m. on Route K at Route CC, two miles north of Amazonia.
A 2010 Honda Insight was southbound when it crossed the center line and traveled off the east side of the road. The vehicle struck a tree and a powerline, coming to rest on its top.
The driver was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for the treatment of serious injuries.
The Andrew County Sheriff’s Department and Andrew County Fire Department assisted the Patrol at the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of victims in crash reports.
