The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that ten people died in traffic crashes over the 2025 Christmas holiday.
The counting period began at 6 p.m. Dec. 24, and ended at 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 28.
In addition to the fatalities, troopers responded to 258 total crashes and 94 injuries. The Patrol also remained active in enforcement, making 93 arrests for driving while intoxicated over the long weekend.
The fatalities were reported across several regions of the state. These incidents occurred in areas patrolled by Troop A in Lee’s Summit, Troop B in Macon, Troop C in St. Charles, Troop E in Poplar Bluff, Troop G in Willow Springs, and Troop H in St. Joseph.
