ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas felon on drug allegations.
Just before 1p.m. Wednesday an officer was dispatched to a hotel at 4th and Main in Atchison where a person was on the property who had previously been trespassed from there, according to Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The officer located and took into custody 43-year-old Aaron Oberg. During the arrest Oberg was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He was booked into the county jail on requested charges of criminal trespass and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. He has two previous convictions for theft.
