A 33-year old Savannah man was sentenced to prison Monday for child sex trafficking involving two minors.
Ross Rutherford received the sentence in Andrew County Court after pleading guilty to two counts of second-degree child trafficking.
According to court documents, a judge sentenced Rutherford to 30 years in the Department of Corrections for the first count and 10 years for the second.
In a plea statement, Rutherford admitted to exchanging money for “suggestive pictures” from a victim under the age of 18 in May 2024. He also acknowledged requesting nude photos from a second minor in January 2025.
