Five people have been arrested in St. Joseph, one of which was found to have multiple outstanding warrants for drug possession after a search warrant was executed by the Special Operations Division and St. Joseph Police.
Buchanan County Sheriff Bill Puett reports that on Wednesday, the Buchanan County Drug Strike Force and St. Joseph Police Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant on a home in the 1300 block of South 24th Street.
When inside the home, officers found multiple units of drugs, as well as firearms, some of which were stolen. Five people were arrested for the investigation, one of which had several outstanding warrants for drug possession charges.
The case has been submitted to the Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
