Mo. woman injured after rear-end crash with a semi

HOLT COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 11a.m. Friday in Holt County. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005  Peterbilt semi driven by a 53-year-old Lancaster, Kentucky man and a 2024 Chevy Trax driven by a 57-year-old Rock Port woman were southbound on Interstate 29 two miles north of Craig. The semi merged into the driving land and struck the drivers side rear of the Chevy. 

Atchison-Holt ambulance transported the Chevy driver to Fairfax Community Hospital. The semi driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
