Missouri senators passed their version of the supplemental state budget after a contentious floor debate, with changes including adjustments to Medicaid match dollars and the removal of funding for improving the Missouri Capitol Building. The bill now returns to the Missouri House for approval before reaching Gov. Mike Kehoe. The Senate version includes $86 million in general revenue for St. Louis tornado relief, while some items opposed by senators, such as funding for the Great American State Fair and a solicitor general’s office, were removed from the bill.
