Bill Heitman was honored for his 35 years of service at the Missouri Association of Soil & Water Conservation Districts’ annual training conference. He joined the board in 1990 and has seen the district evolve over the years, introducing new programs and technologies. Bill represented Atchison County at national and state conferences, enjoying the camaraderie and working towards a common goal. After serving another four years, Bill has decided to retire and take a break from attending meetings.
