National WWI Museum and Memorial on the hunt for a new CEO

The National WWI Museum and Memorial will begin the search for a new CEO as Matthew Naylor steps down after 14 years in the role. Naylor will guide the museum through its centennial this year before departing in June 2027. The board will hire an executive search firm this spring to find a new CEO by early 2027, with input from staff, trustees, donors, and community partners. Naylor’s leadership has transformed the museum, overseeing renovations, fundraising campaigns, and hosting city-shaping events, leaving a lasting impact on the institution and the community.
