WORTH COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 1p.m. Friday in Worth County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Harley Davidson driven by a 52-year-old Grant City man was northbound on U.S. 169 just north of 150th Street. A hen turkey entered the raod from the west. The motorcycle struck the turkey, traveled off the east side of the road, overturned and the driver was ejected.
Worth County EMS transported the driver to Ringold County Hospital. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer released names of accident victims.
