CALDWELL COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Friday in Caldwell County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 19-year-old woman from Nebraska was eastbound on MO 116 at SW Brangus Road. The driver was attempting to pass another vehicle. The Jetta was approaching a westbound vehicle. The 19-year-old swerved the Volkswagen off the road. The vehicle traveled down an embankment and overturned on its top in a creek.
Caldwell County EMS transported the driver to Liberty Hospital. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
