BUCHANAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after noon Friday in Buchanan County.
The Missouri State Highway. Patrol reported a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by a 29-year-old St. Joseph woman was southbound on Interstate 29 taking the exit to eastbound U.S. 36 in St. Joseph. The Ford rear-ended a 2023 Nissan Rogue driven by a 57-year-old Omaha woman who had stopped at the bottom of the ramp due to heavy traffic.
Buchanan County EMS transported the Ford driver to Mosaic Life Care. The other driver was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases names of accident victims.
