ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just after 2:40a.m. on Tuesday, police conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block Kansas Avenue in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.. During the stop the driver, 55-year-old Paul Surber, was found to be in possession of illegal drugs.
Police arrested Surber on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and dug paraphernalia and Possession of stimulant; Unlawful sell of prescription drug and Possession with intent to sell, according to online jail records.
