Traffic has resumed on Atchison County Route F near Westboro following the successful reopening of the Rock Creek Bridge on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
The Missouri Department of Transportation, alongside contractor Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., completed the deck replacement ahead of schedule, restoring access to a route that had been closed since October 20, 2025.
This project was part of a multi-bridge improvement initiative aimed at extending the lifespan of critical infrastructure in the region. In addition to the Rock Creek Bridge, the project included deck replacements for the Mill Creek Bridge on Holt County Route T and the U.S. Route 59 Bridge over Interstate 29.
