St. Joseph is hosting its annual Spring Clean Sweep event from April 1 through 7, allowing residents to clean up their properties and dispose of unwanted items. The event is not a replacement for regular trash services. Last year’s event was canceled to reduce landfill waste, but this year residents can drop off yard waste, trash, and appliances for free at the landfill. The landfill is open during normal hours, and residents can find restrictions and guidelines on the city’s website.
