Peru State College is hosting a series of events in April to raise awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The events aim to educate about sexual violence, prevention, and support for survivors. Activities include an interactive lecture on sexuality and assault, a self-defense workshop, and a fundraiser where participants can pie volunteers to support Project Response. The month will conclude with National Denim Day, where students and staff are encouraged to wear denim in solidarity with survivors. Teal Tuesdays will also be observed throughout April, with teal awareness items available at the SAAM information table.
