A motion to dismiss a lawsuit against a St. Joseph School District Board of Education member has been filed by the member’s attorney, Jeffrey Davison. The motion argues that the Quo Warranto lawsuit lacks understanding, subject matter jurisdiction, and authority to adjudicate the matter. The lawsuit was filed by five individuals challenging the board member’s ability to serve following a Missouri Constitution violation during a board meeting. The hearing for the lawsuit is scheduled for May 5 at the Buchanan County Courthouse, with Judge Kate Schaefer presiding.
