Severe weather has been a common occurrence in Missouri this spring, with frequent storms in March and April. The state experienced three consecutive days of severe storms in late April, resulting in a high number of hail reports. While tornadoes have also been a concern, Missouri ranks fourth in the nation for tornadoes and second for hail reports. The state is expected to remain in the top three for severe weather reports as the season continues into early summer.
