New giraffe crossing to open at Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium this month

The Kansas City Zoo is set to open its new attraction, Giraffe Crossing, on May 22nd. This area will feature an overlook plaza with feeding stations, allowing visitors to get up close to the giraffes. The enclosure will provide the animals with space to roam both indoors and outdoors. The zoo has also welcomed new additions to the giraffe herd, with calves born late last year and in January. The project includes a new barn, snack shop, indoor dining room, and parking lot, making it a must-visit destination for zoo enthusiasts.
