On Thursday, the Herzog Foundation announced the appointment of Frank Kruse as the new Chief Executive Officer for the organization.

Kruse brings decades of executive leadership experience, strategic growth expertise, and a deep personal commitment to Christian education.  Kruse is also a proven business leader with a strong record of building high-performing teams, strengthening operations, developing talent, and creating long-term strategic partnerships.  Most recently, Kruse served as an executive with Sekisui XenoTech, a pharmaceutical development company.

Following the company’s sale, he founded Martin Hill Advisors, where he guides executives and entrepreneurs on strategies and structures to improve operations and accelerate growth.

“Frank brings exactly the kind of experienced, mission-driven leadership needed to usher the Herzog Foundation into its next chapter,” said Herzog Foundation Chairman Todd Graves in a news release. “His business background, commitment to developing people, and passion for Christian education make him exceptionally well suited to lead this work.”

In addition to his business career, Kruse serves as a Commissioner of the Missouri Department of Conservation and sits on the Advisory Board for the Johnny Morris Institute of Fisheries, Wetlands and Aquatic Systems at the University of Missouri, which is dedicated to developing talent for careers in conservation.

“I am honored to join the Herzog Foundation and advance its important mission,” Kruse said. “Christian education plays a vital role in developing students of character, excellence, and purpose. I look forward to working alongside the Foundation’s team and partners to strengthen and expand that impact.”

A native of Carrollton, Missouri, Kruse grew up on a farm and remains active in his family’s farming operation. He holds degrees from the University of Missouri and North Carolina State University and is a lifelong outdoorsman.
