75 MPH speed limits come closer to becoming a thing in Missouri

The Missouri House approved a bill that would allow state officials to increase speed limits on rural, four-lane highways to 75 mph. Sponsored by Sen. Jamie Burger and carried in the House by Rep. John Voss, the bill had already passed the Senate but was amended before being approved by the House. The legislation will need to be approved by the Senate again before reaching the governor’s desk.
