University of Central Missouri student Avery Barr, a Savannah native, is set to graduate in 2026 with a major in fashion and a minor in computer information systems. Barr has volunteered at Kansas City Fashion Week and assisted with a fashion show at the Missouri Special Olympics. She combines her skills in fashion design and technology to create 3D models using virtual reality goggles to visualize fabric movement before final production. Her experience in web development and data analysis complements her creative design process.
