Nebraska law enforcement to participate in Make-It-Click campaign

As summer approaches and more people hit the road, local law enforcement is emphasizing the importance of seat belt and child restraint use through the national “Make it Click” mobilization. In 2021, over one person per hour died in vehicle crashes due to not wearing seat belts. Law enforcement officers will be conducting high saturation patrols with a zero-tolerance approach to seat belt violations during this campaign, funded by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Drivers and passengers are urged to buckle up every trip to ensure safety on the road.
